Just a matter of a different MAP sensor? Any certain one better than the rest, and does it require re-tuning?
You can use a lb7 oil pressure sensor(not a 01) or most aftermarket gauge companies issipro for sure sell just the sensor and you can use that

You would have rescale the boost sensor with EFI very simple

I have HPTuners already (tune lots of gassers), but if there's a EFI writeup on the procedure, that's all I need to know. Any idea where I can find more info on this?

Not sure if HP has the table to rescale boost sensor or not?

If it does you can use supplied scaling or Microsoft Excel. Basically 5 Ma is 100 psi and 0 is 0. I used a air compressor to scale mine but it's rather simple

I've only had mechanical boost gauges so I don't have first hand experience but electric ones read it off of existing sensors that aren't as accurate and if I remember right they max out at around 22 psi.

Thats not true, Electric gauges use there own sensor for a max of what ever you gauge reading is. Eg: 0-50 reads 50 psi

stock lb7/lly will read upwards of 37 psi:)
