Like the title says im ready to pull the trigger on a set of twins or possibly trips from sdp or epr. I would like some input on both kits and pics please! I have researched both a TON and i want more information so dont think i just started this thread for no reason. I have a s366 and would really like to see s300/400 kits but any will work. Also what is every ones thoughts on trips for a nasty street truck daily driver?

Don't know anything about the SDP kits, never seen one. I do know that Trent does really good work and puts a lot of thought into this stuff. He knows what to combine with what. The 366/480 setup is beautiful to drive. And even with a stock top turbo the triples are awesome. My triples came out great. But all those kits in his pictures, I probably saw most of 'em being built and would be happy with any of them.

This kit looks Sick Trent! Looks like black chrome chargers and silver hammertone pipe and it looks amazing. What size is this kit?

Do these kits have to be powder coated or will a regular basecoat clearcoat laquer
hold up

I have painted a few and they hold up fine , but we only offer ours powder coated now , so it isnt really a choice , and the cost is already built into the kits so its not "extra"

Is that S366 a T3 or a T4? I always get them confused.

That one is a T-4 .

Just got off the phone with trent. I would definitely invest in his set up. He is very knowledgeable and shares as much knowledge as he can with you. I was extremely impressed with his service. I sent him an email just to ask a few questions and he asked me to call him and i am glad i did. It was a great learning experience and i will definitely invest in his set up when i am ready.

My thought is that your rods wouldn't like it!!

There are sure some beautiful setups shown here.

Well im putting bigger sticks in at the same time so, my main theory is, with twins and bigger sticks i can run a little more boost and have alot more drive pressure and the power will come on alot stronger, then i can lower the pulsewidth to a safer limit and not worry so much about cracking pistons. Basically my truck runs 12.30-12.40 all out with 3,300 pulse. With twins and stick i should be able to accomplish 11.80s with way lower pulse and way safer tuning, make sense? The boost will be alot stronger and should be alot easier on my engine

I like the logic, but you can't say 11's and safe in the same sentence......for long.

Yeah i understand that im just saying i feel with this setup im talking about it will run high 11s and be safer and easier on the motor than running 12.30s with a small turbo and tons off pulse. If im wrong someone please chime in

Do not fear pulse width.... Your logic is flawed IMHO 11.80's is breaking your engine territory regardless of what your setup is.

Yes i realize that but what my theory is and i may be wrong is that with the setup im looking at running 11.80s will probably be as hard on the motor as running it the way i am now on my racetune. Im just thinking with this setup i can go faster pushing the motor the same limits as i am now, but for the most part off the time i would just run it on a tune that is like 12.6os or something.
