I have a popping noise in the front end when I turn or hit bumps evry once in a while... Any ideas? It's really annoying!

It dosent always happen when I turn sometime it just does it... What do I have to do to fix it an I can feel it under me not in the steering!
I havce/had the same popping noise, I only get it while backing up and turning, thought it was in the front end, but have replaced most of those parts recently :dontknow:
thats how mine feels (under me), going in thurs for steering shaft replacement. i'll post back and let you know if it fixes it.
It didnt fix mine, the dealer put the new steering shaft in mine a while back, well that is just one of the shafts I got at the dealer
talked to my friend who is the only tech i will let work on my truck, and most of the time i do the work in his bay just so i do the work lol ( i got a good arrangement with my dealer )... supposedly there is a new shaft design that gets rid of this problem. really hope so, or i'm gonna have to find a better solution.

It was steering shaft for me 3 times now, they only seem to last about 10K miles
Have you got the revised shaft yet? I got the updated intermediate shaft last year and it has not rattled/knocked since.
I got the popping too when only turning left, think i made it pretty good with 40k on my truck on oem steering shaft assembly.
should be a warranty item for you, go let the dealer do something small like change your oil, flush your injectors or something and tell them to replace the steering shaft under warranty, thats what I did
i get some popping pretty good when turning left and when the right side goes over speed bumps. i thought it might be ball joints/tie rods since i saw one or 2 boots leaking greese. going to change them anyways.
also, i get a good rattle from my driver side rear when going down a bumpy road.

i have a bad rattle going slow over bumpy roads. seem to go away or get quieter if you push the brakes.
