I was about to jump on the "lower" it bandwagon, then I thought i'd better see your truck before I opened my mouth.... Dude, I'm with adeso on this one... It looks too good to lower.

Buy another dmax and lower it. You've done a b-e-a-utiful job of modding your truck. just my .02.

Just food for thought here
When i bought our vw golf 2.0 tdi, i had to trade my supercharged 07 classic gmc cc/sb
It was gutwrenching for me and my wife actually cried, we had alota love in that truck (both literally and emotionally, hahaha) but the truck was costing us a grand a month to drive(gas cost only)
So, a year and 40 mpg later, with all the money i put aside, that i was no longer pouring into my gas tank of the gmc gas hog(procharger didnt help any) we had enough to get into another truck, a better truck, a diesel truck, a real truck.
Now as long as i continue to mob around in the golf, i usually can afford to mod the tuck every month, well now it will be every few months, cuz chit just got real, expensive.
Anyways, dude dont lower your truck, put down the cup and walk away from the jesus juice

Look on the bright side James, I'm trying to push this lift stupid fast, so I will be able to pass on the lessons learned from it to you. Let’s see how fast we can push these lifted trucks.

I lowered mine.

I did the 3" drop shackles and lowered the tbars all the way. Still ran a 285/55r20 Dune Grappler on 20x10 rockstars with a -44 offset. I went out on the beach a couple times and never had a problem.

Here it is now. Sittin on 265/70r17 tires with 2" drop spindles and factory tbars back out. 2" drop hangers and 3" drop shackles in the rear. Retaining all leafs. I have 20's to go on it when I get back from deployment.

YOU SUCK!
Just kiddin
but its pics lkie this that make me want to drop mine, i have the same paint too, so that dont help
I just have to remember tho, in stock trim my truck would almost scrape the crest in the top of my driveway to garage entrance, it be steep, there is NO WAY a lowered cc/sb is gonna make it into my garage. So 4" cognito on 35's(skinnys) for me, and how i roll in the great nw

I know what you mean. I can't go any lower due to the fact of the entrance of our base we have speed humps that my truck barely clears. Lol the traction bars didn't help that situation. Now it's a close call.
