Well they still are sleeping at the wheel. They are sending a driver to come pick their truck up. I've called three dealers including ford all of them told me they cannot believe the dealer is letting this happen

Yeah what's the old saying.?

You get good service you tell 2 people.
You get bad service you tell 10.

Something like that, but I can't believe they're comjng to get it over 2k when like you said you spent 60ish

Sorry to hear that it is coming to this. I recommend that you siphon every drop of fuel out of that thing that you can. That way you at least get your fuel cost back.

On a 60k truck the dealer MAYBE made 1500$ on it. If they Dx'd it in they made little to nothing..That's provided you didn't buy it for less than supplier pricing in which they took a bath for sure! Sorry to hear about this story, Wasn't meant to be.. Their will be another truck out there! Doing all the unnecessary stuff to a brand new truck to "stick it to the man" ...Say the next guy buys the truck and becomes a member here who really gets f***** there? C'mon now. You want to stick it to a dealer, give a bad review on there survey (yes you will get one for buying a new chevy) That my friend hurts in many ways including $$. And yes every dealer is going to side with you they want your business, Hell I side with you as well and I don't sell them but I'd love for our Chevy dealership to have your business. :thumb:

Good Luck and hopefully the RIGHT truck comes to you asap! :)

Unfortunately this happens way more than you think. The dealer I worked for (non GM) did this a lot. Mostly it's screwups in number crunching on the part of the salesman or sales managers, sometimes they look at the trade and find out they lost their ass and try to soak up the losses that way. You never know with dealers. You can't always blame the dealer though salesman act alone sometimes you would be surprised, hence why you don't usually see the same ones from one month to the next.

I agree 100 percent not to mention if u did go do something dumb and the dealer comes up with the money. I think it's all in good fun but nothing was tampered with or damage. Hell I still have the cover on the screen and both ac knobs. Won't they won't get is anymore diesel than what the just has in it nor will it be washed. It will be picked up by 5 today

My good friend just had to turn his in as well. His was drinking a gallon of coolant every 600 miles from the dig. GM gave him a new one, he had 7,800 on it before they did though...
