LMM: Pick my converter

I have a buddy who runs nothing but 1054 in the LBZ LMM trucks and they are all waay happy with them.
ML-G or maybe the R. The G couples like no other converter ive driven. I cant wait to try out the R. I say this bc you are still planing on running the stock turbo correct?
I really like my R but then again all I can compair to is the stock one. I have not towed with it yet but it drives around town nice and my trans temp is actually a little too low without a load not sure about loaded yet. Dose anyone make a thermostat for the transmission cooler?

Haha drive it like you stole it! These trucks are sure fun to drive! Normal driving highway speeds and 60 f I see 155-170f. My dads lly has a Mike L cooler and his runs around 150. This will change pulling trailers and summer months.
I think you willbe happy with the R. I have heard that it couples even better than the G. Im gonna go with the R myself...

Nothing couples better than the G.
The G is actually coupling at a standstill. Let off the brake and it will get to 5 mph by itself.

Hey Mike, not trying to get off track but looking to build my tranny soon as well. What would you recommend for an LMM with 35" tires and future twins? Most likely s475/stock.
