just my opinion here, we did some turbo testing and the new precision 64 did 640hp and has great street manners. we have their brand new 68 to try next im sure it'll do over 700

Fixed vane. Would still require a pedestal, oil lines, down pipe, and new intercooler and intake piping.

I know that, pat ran one for a while. Where does it stack up performance wise with marks new turbo and the 467 that was mentioned. I know it's enough to shorten all 8 rods, but Mark can dial her back a little if need be.

I would say the FI S468/87/.90 we just put in my reg cab is easily good for 850-900 at the wheels. Now I know that's way more than what you need, but I think the same turbo with a 64 in it would be perfect for your stock motor. This 68 drives amazing!

Wolf what are your primarily going to be doing with the truck? It makes a big difference if your picking out a single... IMOP you can't beat a small set of compounds on a street truck... More than enough juice to wreck the bottom end, great towing capabilities with low egts, Instant spool. There are several companies making great kits that fit very well with minimal hassle. Only draw back is some don't like the extra clutter, whatever...

I am a big fan of my 366. Spools very well, tows fantastic, and still has enough juice to get my crew cab to 12.0's on stock fuel. I think that for a stock bottom end truck there is very little need for any more charger. This thing cleans up all the fuel i can throw at it with ease. Granted it is not a box stock bw charger.

Now with that said I would probably go with a 467/97/.90 if I was gonna do it again, they are just so much stronger of a charger.

I also tow over 12k with it regularly with zero issues.

I daily drive it. Tow a heavy boat (19k) 400 miles once a year. But towing is not important. We have other avenues to move the boat around. What I want is just a fast fun to drive street truck. I wanted to try something a little more powerful than the lb7 setup I have. And I think your right about compound twins. I'd love a sdp kit. I just kinda hate the vgt whoosh sound. I sure wish I knew what that black truck is running haha. Thing is a monster.

Thanks man:thumb:

Danville 68mm stg2r. I put down 628 hp on stock fuel with it. Mark can make a 72mm if you ask him but this thing is crazy. No lag and alot of whistle. Egts stay in check and the turbo brake is better then stock.
