I know I'm reaching way back here, but how about the GT4202?
Fixed vane. Would still require a pedestal, oil lines, down pipe, and new intercooler and intake piping.

On the s400s, how much different does the 87 vs the 83 with spooling?
Wolf what are your primarily going to be doing with the truck? It makes a big difference if your picking out a single... IMOP you can't beat a small set of compounds on a street truck... More than enough juice to wreck the bottom end, great towing capabilities with low egts, Instant spool. There are several companies making great kits that fit very well with minimal hassle. Only draw back is some don't like the extra clutter, whatever...
I daily drive it. Tow a heavy boat (19k) 400 miles once a year. But towing is not important. We have other avenues to move the boat around. What I want is just a fast fun to drive street truck. I wanted to try something a little more powerful than the lb7 setup I have. And I think your right about compound twins. I'd love a sdp kit. I just kinda hate the vgt whoosh sound. I sure wish I knew what that black truck is running haha. Thing is a monster.
