Still sounds like a valve body issue to me.

Have you tried the Sonnax bore sizing tool for the Evalve?
No after talking with mike it sounded like another valve body was a better idea. Now i kinda wish i would have.i had less issues with my old valve body then the new one live and learn i guess
Thanks for the replay man ill look at the valve body again. You thinking something maybe didn't get flushed good enough and causing the valves to sick or something else?
Not a lot to "flush" when you build it, if you disassemble everything you can see nearly all of the surfaces and passages. Getting everything sparkling and keeping it that was as you assemble is key. Some guys will assemble in an old barn with the doors open and a crosswind outside and have good luck, others will have issues and not know why. Good light is key too, can't find dirt without light. if you cant afford lights in your shop, go online and buy a good headlight. No not at Home Depot, a good headlight with big balls. I use a Zebralight H602W. Nuetral color, serious flood 1000lm, nice for up close, uses nice 18650 batteries but is still light. If you buy something that uses AA's you wont get the output or run time, but you can buy batteries around the corner.
Flush the coolers until they are clean as well before reinstalling. If you had everything spotless, new converter and clean coolers you shouldn't have contamination issues.
My shop is very well lit and cleaner then some of the small transmission shop around here i have built motors in it with no issue. Thought i was capable to build a transmission and had the manual right there and the sun coast papers checked everything a couple times cleaned everything the best i could but luck just wasn't on my side hell i even covered everything at night so no dust would get on anything just like i do with my motors. I know that don't mean much and wont fix it now just thought I'd reply
I bet you won't do that again
Thats what forums are all about... helping one another out. Nice job :thumb:
Evan is getting real good at building these transmissions.
I've got a buddy who knows a lot about them. He's old and sometimes grumpy but he sure has taught me a lot
