They said they would look into it but they said it's doing like a harsh downshift and a hard upshift. I think ur right. Idk tho. I'm not a trans expert haha. He said it could be a bad solenoid
Also he said that most gm vehicles you don't have to do a relearn and fast learn. Said all you gotta do is unhook the battery and that will relearn it
Well they listened to me and they got it done. I wanted to take it to Danville but couldn't afford it and needed to get it done asap. I Hurd aamco was a great shop here in town . I'm located in Evansville IN.
They did a whole rebuild. Extended warranty covered half of it out of pocket around 3k. With upgraded clutches and upgraded torque converter. Idk what stall the converter has tho.
Yeah I realize this now the transfer case was also replaced as well. They said it had a bad main bearing or something and needed replaced that's why it cost so much. Originally was quoted for like 4k but then upgraded clutches converter and new transfer case
I would get an itemized list of everything that was done internally and brands for parts used.
The 05 trans is decided weak (from what the experts here have said) so get them a list maybe they can suggest some things to make this better. Or maybe it's a good build already! Wish the best for ya.

I plan on it and thanks. I just needed it back quick cuz it's my daily. I dnt plan on make hugest numbers from it so I'm hoping I'll be good
