Is that why his stock Allison with a triple plate converter lasted for almost 100,000 miles at 488RWHP? Matter of fact, its still taking him to and from work every day.

Max power has nothing to do with the amount of energy the trans sees on a daily basis.

And all this time he has been telling everyone its his TCM tuning......

I built his trans with Raybestos green clutches, extra clutch in C3, .146 pressure regulator shim. He will deny it. Pretty sure Pat was at my shop when I had it apart.
I don't believe he ever made 488 hp as he only ran 14.20 in the 1/4. Pat spanked him pretty bad with Casper and Casper was not setting the world on fire back then. Steve claimed he missed a shift and that's why he lost. How does an Allison miss a shift?

That trans has been on the shelf in the back of his shop for a very long time.

You and I both know the story on the drag race between Steve and Pat but that's getting pretty far off topic.

You said turning de-fuel off was a bad idea. And that it would cause serious problems.

So I simply asked you if you thought it was possible to build an Allison to hold up without de-fuel.

Then all of a sudden you had the magic recipe to make it work. When questioned on it, you resorted to personal attacks as usual.:(

Obviously a flare in the fueling before, during, or after the shift indicates an improperly tuned ECM.

As long as you lift in 4th before the 5th gear shift you'll be fine..............:roflmao:..........:roflmao:...........:roflmao:
