Nope. Must remove the dash. I used the roll bar to hold the dash up on the sides and used straps around the back bar to hold it up. Worked perfect. The dash pad does come off but no way around it. Pulling the dahs isn't actually that bad, it's the steering column that scared me. Oh, and everything HVAC related was 50lbs.

I see a very low 10 or possibly high 9 in your future. My guess is 10.15 @ 135mph

Well, not the time that I wanted to end up with last night, but night cut short due to me picking up a screw in the RR tire :(

Coilovers did very well, front end didn't raise a bit, junk prep and lots of spills, gained MPH though, trans is doing awesome. Track calculators put the truck right at 900rwhp last night.

Video didn't work for me. Were you running your slicks? I would have thought with slicks you would have gotten a better 60' even with crap prep. Regardless it's a fast pass. :thumb:

It would spin. I had him relax the suspension some get it to grab more off the line and still would spin. They didn't give a shit about prep last night. Glad I didn't decide to run my shit

Last bit of weight I could find in the LB7.

Pulled the bed off and removed the outer skins. come in at 36lbs each side for a long bed. Plan on making a bed cage to hold the skins up like others have done. Not sure how much the bed itself weighed, wouldn't be surprise if the long beds are 350lbs+.

I will make 5000 lb race weight next time the truck sees a scale.

You dont really need 8 lugs per tire, you should remove 4 from each tire. Drop in unsprung weight is where its at. Probably save 5 lbs!

Weighed my full weight reg cab zf-6 the other day.. 6460 with me in it. I'm 200#. 20" wheels 10 ply tires, half tank fuel and all my normal crap I carry around. So I guess the zf is pretty close on weight to the Allison's

It's lighter. I think it's like 240 lbs, but add a dual disc bumps it up a touch. That truck was 6600 with mud tires and bed of shit when I weighed it
