not bad. 100 cheaper than banks with better customer service, better bolts, shipping included, etc
hay Tom, what about relevant information such as in post 1190? can we copy that over to the sticky? like a condensed thread or information center?
I know there is a few more such as BTU calculations for those trying to find a radiator, or remote oil filter adapters, temp sensors locations or even using the fuel temp sensor to monitor the oil temp, etc. lots of good info that we would have to sort through and copy over

I can't comment on the bolts as I don't recall what GM uses, I will say I am pricing the GM bolts tho
I have all the PNs written down, that's about all there is to finalize except ordering/shipping parts.
I was thinking of going with a 2017-2019 cooler since it fits easier and uses the same filter not the the smaller 2020+ oil filter

considering the benefits, our temps out here and you having twins, id rrrreeeeaaaalllllyyyy consider the 2020+ cooler.
Wasn't it just a minor trim of a heat shield and part of the OEM casting to make it fit???
i think so but i dont remember. his being a re-power might be an issue but i really doubt it.

Additional info that could be used. GM just came out and informed us that the PF63 is now the recommended oil filter for the 2020+ L5P engines. PF26 still can be used. The reason for the change is they briefly said the PF63, though narrower, is taller pleats and has more volumetric efficiency as well as better cold flow capabilities.
Yup, to run a 2020+ the manifold must have the heat shield tab trimmed off. Cutoff wheel and an angle grinder makes quick work of it.
