First you want that paint as spotless and pristine as you can get. Chemical decontamination via spray iron remover, tar remover. Then wash the paint. Then use clay or clay alternative like a clay towel or clay mitt with your excess wash soap as lube and rub till smooth. Polish if needed which I assume it would. Judging by the pic it would be compound and polish. Something like griots fast correcting cream and griots perfecting cream or menzerna 3500/3800 would probably do well. The clear on these trucks seems to be harder so I’d use some light cutting foam pads or even microfiber cutting on a da. Polish then do wipe paint down with prep wipe of some form to remove all polishing oils. Get your ceramic of choice and prime applicator and work in small sections maybe 18x18. Use a cross hatch pattern and then let it flash. By that it kinda hardens up you can see a very slight change to the sheen. Wipe/level with a short nap microfiber (300gsm) and then move to the next area. If it seems like a lot pick up something like McKees 37 hydro blue, Gyeon wetcoat, 303 spray sealant. You wash the paint and spray onto the wet panel...3 sprays give or take and then blast off with the pressure washer. Really good beading and sheeting for very minimal effort and lasts 2-3 months. As easy as spray and rinse after the wash. Then just dry as normal.

I’ve heard but never experienced that the McKees streaks in dark paint. I have a dark suv and had no issues. I use in my work truck all the time. Clean up is a breeze

Well my shit is from the shop I had had install my s366 and it didn't get half of what I paid for and came back with overspray so I had to claybar and do what I know to fix it instead of paying 450 to have a detailers do it. But just what I had to do wash,clay wax took 5 hours

Not bad for a ccsb. 450 isn’t a bad price. If you want a pro to install a coating that’s gonna be over the 1k mark for a good reputable job. I’d guess closer to 12-1300 range

My guess they would have it 1 or 2 days. That’s if they didn’t let it full cure before return. You just don’t want them to get wet within the first 7 days. They can get water spots and not cure right and therefore not last as long

Took me 12 hours to do a crew cab long bed alumiduty with a one step paint correction and ceramic coating. you then have to let the ceramic cure in a garage for atleast 12 hours away from dust and water. some ceramics also dont allow you to use chemicals (soaps, details sprays, ect.) for up to seven days. Youtube is the best university btw, take that from someone attending college
Just got done installing a cheap ass egr delete kit. Overall a decent kit except the tube is smaller than the original flex connector at the intercooler and factory clamp doesn’t tight up enough. So we will see how long this harbor freight hose connector I tightened TF out of lasts lol massive coolant leak because I didn’t realize I broke the o ring at the upper t stat bypass. Hopefully the dealer has one in the AM. Got in a rush because it was 1am and I wanted to be done.
