Removed my PPE boot that blew and installed the stocker again. Sucks it blew with only 5000 miles on it


However I found this quite interesting and definitely an eye opener. This was a wiring harness that was located roughly six inches away from the boost leak. All the convoluted plastic melted from the hot air escaping. Blew my mind! I knew the hot side of the charged air could create some hot temps, but it was just something that had never really crossed my mind.

Took both trucks out to the strip today. LB7 ran 10.92 @ 132 on the nitto 420's and the LBZ ran 13.16 @ 103 in 2wd with radials.

Did rear brake pads and machined the rotors, original ones lasted 150k and still at 20% but they were starting to make a lot of squeaky so I said what the hell. OEM pads at cost for me were only one hundo.

Got a new passenger side mirror installed at the dealer cause the wash boy busted the glass on it. I waited in the lounge, ate 2 doughnuts, and 2 cups of coffee.

I bought them off a guy on df, I never even asked him where he sourced the projectors or which ones they are. They use h1 hids, I absolutely love the clean cutoff and I think they look awesome too.
