Been putting mine to work the last few days. Was tucked away for a month before this.

This the first year I've had a car out here of my own. Always been on a quad or motorcycle before. It's like a whole new world opened up lol. Been coming to the dunes for 28 years and still am not bored of it

I really miss the dunes with the quads ( I am too broken up to even think about it anymore) maybe I could do the sand rail thing. Sure looks like fun!:thumb:

Found my tcase leak. Rectangle rubber plug in the top of the case was degraded and fell apart. A big chunk of it fell into the case when I tried to grab it. Hopefully it just gets chopped up into nothing bc I'm not splitting that case while on vacation. Or at all haha. Hopefully my jb weld and aluminum duct tape holds for the ride home

Should of used gum. Once while on a hunting trip I blew a few teeth off my ring gear and through the diff cover and lost all the oil. Filled the hole with gum filed the diff with engine oil and made it home.:woott: The gum was even pretty hard to scrap off, but FYI it wasn't on my Dmax.

It was a pretty big hole. Probably have to chomp up a full pack

I put about 30 miles on it today and no leak. So hopefully she's up for the 850 mile trek back to Florida tomorrow night

Hit a patch of black ice today, slid off the road and plowed into a huge patch of thick brush and tree stumps. Figured my front end was trashed but this was all the damage. I got sooooo lucky it wasn't way worse.

Still bummed though because I have about $300 into the front bumper in powdercoat and new valance

Well today I switched out the awesome brake switch to regain my cruise control. Works like a charm and no more codes. Took about 15 min with a Craftsman 10mm ratcheting wrench and flathead screwdriver. $24 OEM part and cruise is back.:D Anyone hear anything about recalls for our trucks (Something with the ignition and hot weather)??? Wanna say 07+ models. More to follow on that I guess.

Depends, do you have all the proper tools and know how? If so 2 hours ~ if not 4 hours probably

Ill rent the pulley puller tool at oreillys, i just want to know if there is anything out of the ordinary to replacing the pump? Im trying to find a thread for the RR of the pump but cant seem to find anything yet with pics.

From what I remember a pulley puller is pretty much all you need. But it's been a year or so

Flare nut wrenches would be a good idea, buddy told me years ago that with a flare nut pull to tighten on purpose then break it loose, works every time I have ever done it and have not stripped a nut since..
