Polishing my wank uh crank, and checking her holes.

On a serious note measuring everything so I can put this expensive pos together.

James is that controls arms for the tracker!?!?

Lol no. For the sand car. It had vw bug type 1 stub axles (all the vehicle load rides on the axle so when one breaks, wheels goes with). Never broke one though. I scored on a set of 14" internal bypass coilovers so I'm putting them on the car. Since I'd have to redo mounts, things kinda spiraled. Wasn't gunna pay a grand for 5x5 arms so I spent 200 and built my own with the old arms as jigs (they are 3x3), then scored on a set of what people call micro stub axles. Basically it uses a dodge 1500 unit bearing, 930 conversion 33 spline stub shaft, wilwood rotor/hat/and 4 piston caliper, and 5 on 5.5 to vw wide 5 adapter. Over kill for a 1500lbs 240hp engine but I was bound to break a type 1 shaft with how I drive. Gunna ride smoother, bump travel from 15" to 18" and be stronger

I don't know if I'll ever get to the tracker. I'm about ready to just put fox shocks on it as it is and drive it

I wish I had more time too! Need to finish this by oct 21st for a test run, finish stripping brooklyns quad for new paint/powder coat for her bday over thanksgiving, fix a couple leaks on the truck and do a new belt routing, and the tracker o2 sensors decided to die on me. I have a feeling I'm going to be pulling some late nights here soon....

Went and grabbed some parts from the old turbo setup to sell and looked at it on jack stands with no turbo lol. I needed to get a quick boost fix in so took the sti and banged some gears!

Did a 700+ mile trip to NC, and about halfway here I notice chunks missing from my BFGs. I've heard people say it happened to them but I had never seen it first hand. Looks like I'll need tires before I head home.
