Hard to see but installed the merchant auto solids engine mounts in under 3 hours using the factory passenger side heat shield and install was easy and very minor change with vibrations. I recommend them for others

I actually drove my truck today. First time in a month.

Got a driveline vibration Im going to have to deal with. Probably a Ujoint.

Brakes, too.

My friend let off his throttle at 65ish in his OBS Ford 7.3 and thought engine was gonna fall out and it was really 1 strap and bolt left on the pinion! Locktite? Lol

His is a manual that's why the dead throttle at 65 stuck out!

Finally got around to rewiring my whole stereo from when the truck got broke into and stole everything .... 13 hours of door speakers, tweeters, amps, subs, deck, cross overs etc ..... I don't want to touch another stereo for a few months right now lol.

I have thought about that a lot, more now that I'm back in the 5th wheel game again. If you throw a big load on it you should post on this thread with a review please! How does the no overload and bags do? Any inconveniences?

Honestly i dont do much towing and if i do it is nothing over 10000, hence the pulling of the overload, but i can say with certainty that with the combination of these brakes and lines that i stop way faster and sooner than before and could bet the same with having a load behind the truck.

Lowered the truck to flat cv's. Took off my nerf bars and started trimming the fender a bit. Should I put the flares back on or not?
Personally, I only like the flares if they're color matched. Since yours are, I'd say put them on.

Drilled, counter-bored & tapped this aluminum plug I made for the fuel filter a while back and put a quarter turn ball valve in it with a hose down below the frame.

Finished beating my fenders in to get the wheels to clear lowered :roflmao: nah it doesn't look bad really. Trimmed both flares and have one ready to install. Ran outta tape for the other. Gonna order me some lowering shackles to get it level.

Found more weight to strip, getting ready for street car takeover in stl mo in September. Gonna try to hit a 10 with slicks and more weight reduction and cooler air won't hurt. Then we are gonna try someone roll races.

Based on the weight sheet you posted it could actually use a little more weight in the rear but it has to come from the front if your gonna do it haha have you thought about a rear center mounted fuel cell and move the battery/s back there too.

Have you gutted the doors and front fenders. Speed hole everything, even better if you can dimple die all the holes you can cut weight like crazy and not lose very much if any strength
