PPE trans, ATS trans, BD turbo, ATS turbo, diablo predator, Edge juice, PPE, EFI, PPE sleeves, Cognito tie rods.....................yes i have tried lots of parts.

I have rode in Hondariders truck and MMLMM truck to see how the trans feels. Feels nice and stock. I like a hard lock-up.

Not taking any sides here on this one but not sure if you have ever looked inside of a allison before but there's really nothing special going on with these trannys from shop to shop.
I have a purple trans, a suncoast, and one other that I wont compare b/c there quality of workmanship on our bench right now for a customers.

Most common thing between all trans shops MikeL, ATS, Suncoast, EDP', Goerands, etc. is non will last forever.
Taking jabs at supporting vendors that supply tech support is low no matter what site or vendor it is especially if you are another supporting vendor that takes there truck to get worked on by other shops rather then do the work on there own at there own so called diesel performance shop.

Tool Shed here! Wow, so many questions, and so many pages. I source the DD all the time for info, along with the DP shenanigans, D-Stop (Fjord) and rumor has it that I hang out a bit over at the DF. :laugh:

Let me say first to all that don’t know me here, but do on other sites, I’m not into neither bashing nor personal attacks, or insulting people in open forums. It’s not the place and it can drag a forum down and run people off.

Ben, you’re a smart guy in a lot of areas and I see you have a lot of knowledge that could be beneficial to the D-Max community. However, you became interested (over there), in the famous ATS thread, of one members remark. For your own entertainment, you decided to research all of the past threads where this member had posted. You then proceeded to bash, ridicule, and try your best to humiliate this member on a regular basis in the open forums. In the process, you enlisted the help of Durallymax in your game of chuckles. Many of the rude and lewd comments were deleted permanently and the staff started warning you of being an overall jerk. As a result you both got yer hands slapped. :eek:

Me standing up for you and what you had to bring to the table in knowledge is where the flip-flop came in your banned status. However, you continued with the childish pranks and ended up embarrassing me for sticking up for you. Thanks, Buddy! :rockon: You're a REAL stand-up Guy!

Now, let me say to all that do not know about the famous Tech Badges. The mods on a forum have nothing to do with who gets a Tech Badge, it’s controlled by the Parent, AutoForums. When you are assigned a Tech Badge it’s only because you applied and requested one, it has nothing to do with your level of knowledge. If you didn't want the window dressing below the avatar, why did you apply??

With that said, let’s get back on topic and discuss the thread you’ve referred to where you and I first clashed. Ben, the thread was 2 months old! You took it upon yourself to attack this member over a simple GM BULLETIN he had posted. Granted, I too thought it was bizarre about the relation to the T/H and voltage output.

But, instead of you simply raising concerns that this didn’t pertain to the Diesel HDs, you chose to humiliate the member via his credentials (Tech Badges don’t mean Squat)! Instead of delving deeper into an actual GM produced document as to why they would publish this and thereby adding something constructive, you chose to bicker with me over the meaning of a LIGHT DUTY TRUCK! Sheesh! Ben, you’re a smart guy. Why the heck you would venture down this path being bull-headed is beyond me.

Ben, I’ve been dealing in Fleet Sales for many years, and I own a transport company. That's why I'm on the Fjord and D-Max sites, to gain product knowledge. A LIGHT DUTY TRUCK class is inclusive of all 1500s, 2500s, and 3500s. You then move into the MEDIUM DUTY TRUCK class, which is inclusive of all 4500s and 5500s. There's no such thing as 'kinda light' or 'Heavy Light' or 'diddlly Light'! Go into any Fleet Sales Dept at any GM Dealership and prove otherwise, there’s a Franklin here waiting on you when you do.

You’re a knowledgeable guy Ben, and please don’t take this thread's posting as an insult or bashing in any way, but these Diesel Forums are not the Rant/Rave forum on your local CraigsList, it’s a constantly evolving source of info for the average owner to come for advice and discussions and not be intimidated.

You don’t just come in and make a short 1-line statement that a procedure is stupid! Instead, you offer up your experiences on the matter. Why it differs, your info sources, and how you came to form your difference of opinion. In other words, you share your knowledge to educate and teach and thereby enrich the journey, not bash, ridicule, humiliate, challenge and criticize someone that has a different viewpoint or understanding on the subject.

To answer your question that you continually asked repeatedly, “Why don’t people take me seriously?” This is how you gain respect & honor in the Forum communities, and have people 'Take You Seriously' and believe in what you bring to the table. Funny thing is, I don’t see you being a jerk on this site. Why is that?

The silence of actions has thrown ya'll with no explanations given. Unlike your M.O. Ben, I chose not to humiliate you 'over there' openly. Had my time not been consumed with cleaning up the crap you left in your wake and dealing with all of the complaints of Jerk-ness, I could've had time to PM you privately.

Furthermore, when I have a truck, I will have nothing ATS on it if I can help it. I could own a duramax, I am waiting on the newest and best that is coming out in 2010 or 2011. Why buy something old?

Reguadless, I know when the time comes where I am getting a tranny from. It won't be the most convient or closest.

You dont have a truck because you are 14 which is probibly why you dont know shit about trannys.

Whys is it so importatant to have a mikeL trans when as you stated the only junk out there is ATS. Get a grip kid wake up there are great performance shops in your backyard, try and get out once in a while, ever heard of a truck called climax?

No problem. Im assuming the package got to you then, My moms been gripin about all my spare parts everywhere so it was good to get that thing out of the garage.
