Many folk know what happened when I started using ATS parts, so I won't go into it again.

But who gives a flying fk about warranty on race parts? If I can't make a race, or don't finish because of busted ass shiit, exactly how will another set of the same parts help?

Warrantees suck donkey nuts. I want shiit that don't bust to begin with. ATS cannot deliver.

Your right Pat, ATS does not deliver...notice Newly is in Colorado :D

I just got all warm and fuzzy...Nevermind, someone just walked in...

Anyway, I bet $1 that Ben wouldn't have got the B-stick here, we all know he's a smartass...We encourage that, as long as it's backed up with facts...Oops, was that outloud???;)

suncoast parts never break?

I only have 3 trucks with Suncoast parts, but so far I've never had a Suncoast part failure ever stop me from racing.

Yeah, all automatic trans stuff busts. But I've had good luck with Suncoast parts so far.

ATS?

Clutches: Poor quality control during adhesive bonding procedure causes near immediate failure on my truck and 2 others I personally witnessed.

Torque Converter: At 200 miles during break in, trans temps went past 300 deg, and truck hit Limp Mode. Had to be towed.

CoPilot: First unit was DOA from the factory. Never worked at all.

ATS can make good stuff, or so I heard. Problem is, I've had massive QC issues with their stuff. I can't recommend them.

your ATS converter caused the trans to overheat right away too. funny i have a truck in my shop with the same issue, the trans used to be purple but was black and yellow when i sent it in.

Thats fine if you have had bad luck and cannot reccomend them, but does that mean they make bad parts?

I thought the delamination issue was fixed and must say from the pics their clutches look like a better design than what came with my suncoast kit.

Also I think the pressure added by the copilot is excellent and I will have one in my next build.

With all the people watching we should go to the chatroom.

I probably shouldn't ask you:hug:
I'll go ahead and answer anyway. The only SunCoast part on my truck is my converter, and I've never really cared much for it. I have an ATS CoPilot, which I'm very pleased with, and an ATS pump spring, works well enough I guess.

First off, there is a very good reason Newly is up in Denver, hes helping someone out in a huge way, but you'd know nothing about anyhting like that. you talk a lot of crap about Newly, for not even really knowing him. Mike L. came out and said he didnt like him. Maybe you should let your secret out that you have wet dreams about him or something....

I bought Clutches (defective), Converter (defective), CoPilot (defective).

All at the same time.

None of our trucks have run quicker with a CoPilot for over a year. I've bought 3 of them, but won't buy any more.

My clutches did not delaminate. They did not use glue the friction material on correctly; they had large amounts of bubbles in the glue. Friction area was reduced about 1/3 rd from the bubbles.

My converter did delaminate apparently.

If you would like to cut me a check for my damages, I will accept it. Otherwise, go pound sand. Playing with ATS trans stuff cost me several thousands of dollars. Product testing isn't always glamorous.
