Don't know if I've ever learned a thing over there, I'm usually posting over there offering my opinion not asking advice. I agree, most of the members are kind of new and are trying to find out pretty simple answers. The Tech badge they hand out to some of the, "experts" really make me wonder. Some of the stuff they the "experts" post it total BS. Mind you I'm no expert, and have never claimed to be, but when I know it's BS then it really out in left field. I rarely post for information anymore. I know enough real experts that I just go to the source and ask directly. I think most people that have been doing this for awhile do the same. But what the hell do I know?

i agree this site is the only one out there for good quality tech info on dmax ..... but i think alot of people have kept it that way on purpose , i have to an extent . i share a little bit on other sites but this one gets the bulk of what little bit i know .

I thought that was you that stepped down Caleb. I joined there because it was the first site I wondered upon when I had an issue with Laguna Speed and wanted to get it out in the open. I got involved over the winter cause my job is seasonal and I have nuthin but time. I learned some useful info over there but its a lot of the same stuff. The whole mod & tech badge issue is the reason I started lookin around for a new "home." I hope I'm included in the group that tried to be helpful.
It's pretty bad when you cant even put who tuned your truck into the 12's because they aren't a sponsor. I've met and talked to good people because of these forums and hope to continue that here. This place is undoubtably more laid back and informative.

I remember when we was able to put that kind of stuff in the sigs chris, but then when had a group that wanted to come in and try to sell stuff through there sig because they were not vendors and couldn't post it in the open. The kept putting links and telephone numbers in their sigs, so you can't blame that all on us.

No blame on anyone Kyle. I'm glad I'm a member there. I agree the rules should be followed. It's been crowded on the DF recently, so I'm sure its no fun.

Yeah chris it has been very crowded and i find it hard to even have time to post. I'm sure you have noticed that i don't post but maybe one or two post a day now. I am just way too busy and there has been a lot of reading to do every time i log on now.


I have been a member here for a while, just don't ever post. I have found plenty of good info here and haven't seen the need to post since i know how to use the search feature. Plus i have a hard enough time trying to keep up with everything since i work so much.

I have no issues with you Kyle I beleive it was you who was decent enough to give me a warning or 2 for bein a bit blunt with some of those idiots tryin to tell people good ways to break there trucks by doing something wrong.

It will be a very long time before I return over there seeing as all the guys I liked to talk to have been booted from over there it makes no sence. I may go give Mike a bit of moral suport every now and then.

I don't think you pissed anyone off Kyle, a few of you are actually adults with the way you guys handle things, it's just like the Place back when they started gettin a ton of new mods who loved the feeling of power. I was always affraid of Fartin at my computer while I was on the Place in fear of gettin banned.
