I started a thread over there complain about it. Its stupid those three guys are the only smart ones over there besides Mike and im about ready to just go off on them. Theyre all idiots and cant take a joke. Heres a link to my thread

http://www.duramaxforum.com/forum/w...s-announcements/23490-nemo-hondarider552.html

I just realized they closed it but theres a link to Mikes thread on the last page. Not sure if they closed that one or not though.

Im still wonderin why a guy with a ford is a mod over there?

He is not supposed to be a mod anymore. I don't care what the mods drive as long as they are knowledgeable and not ass lickers, and Tank knows nothin and just happens to be an ass licker.

they deleted the thread.

the mods were joking with each other and changing each others avatar to homosexual things, a new member was like WTF? then the mods kept gong and I think the new member got offended and brian, nemo, newly backed the guy up. The the mods told the new guy it was all a joke. newly, nemo and brian kept going off on the mods (they werent let in on the secret i guess) the mods got tired of it and banned them all for 2 months. I think they were kinda baited, but the mods say other wise. I called all the mods out on the decision, only to find out that ALL the mods wanted them banned...

So I wonder if I will get the boot for always havein fun with Newly and Nemo? Hell I haven't been to that site in a long time. Time to go have fun:joker:

Ya I was under the impression that his mod powers were taken away so he could not be an ass licker anymore lol...Then he banned justin, brian, and newly. And honestly those mods know nothin over there. I apologize to the good mods over there because theyre some good ones but most are clueless as to dmax performance.

He is pretty outspoken , and thinks he knows alot from what i read .

How the hell does a guy with a ford end up moderating a dmax site . It doesnt bother me , but seems really wierd .

I'm with you guys, TANK is a f'n douche. I know he got banned for life from powerstroke.org but not why. Only thing he's good for is stirring the pot. I didn't see the thread that got those three banned, but I'm sure it wasn't necessary.

Brian, Justin, and Newly did help out quite a few people there, but they were real good at running their mouths, and ganging up on people. I think they pissed off a few too many of the mods. FWIW yeah a couple of the mods aren't the best IMO, but most of them do pretty good.

As for the retarted tech badges, anyone can request one! And if the "parent" comany the autoguide.com or whatever people give the OK, you get a tech badge. I know quite a bit more than some of the "tech specialists" do, and I feel lost with some of the things I read about on here. And heck I know more than some of them and don't even own a dmax (YET!!!). A couple of the "tech specialists" are in their teens still, and mommy and daddy bought their trucks for them.

The more time I spend at DF the more I realize it's just the place for newbies to come ask if 285's will fit on their truck, and if an Edge is the best tuner for their truck. I don't mind answering their dumb and overly repeated questions cuz I don't want them to ruin a perfectly good truck.

But in the end I think it was their attitudes that got them banned. The mods all swear up and down that they've given them a bunch of warnings over the last three months, and that they blatantly disregarded them.

I don't know any of you guys, or the mods there personally, so I don't want to take sides. But I agree that they seemed awfully eager to ban em.

I agree with you. Brian, Justin, and Newly were usually kiddin though. I mean they always gave each other shit and Newly would constantly say that he is just messin around and people kinda got their panties in a knot anyways. I started hanging out over there more because I like those guys and they actually know what their talking about. All i ever heeard before was, what tires fit? Is hypertech good?. I mean everyones gotta start somewhere but if there is no tech info at all whats the point? And on top of that they never gave any of those guys a warning. Tanks full of shit in my opinion and loves having the power. He reminds me of the cops we have around here. Entirely too eager to punish rather than help out. There was never any problems before Tank came and I think he should go and the other three should be brought back. Im tired of the Df at this point and will probably stop visiting. Unless I wanna start some trouble up or somethin :D.

I hear ya. As sad as it sounds, I feel like I've learned everything I can from that site. Thats why I came over here. Most of the EFI guru's are here, and I want to learn about EFI.

DF really took a dive when Tank showed up. All that douche does is look for an excuse to put up a pic of his 6.slow. Then he goes fishing for comments on it after he does. He's getting better after they slapped him on the wrists cuz the "power" went to his head. But I saw at least two or three times where he openly threatened everyone there with being banned if they didn't cool off. And that was just in the thread you started JP.

In reality you don't have to be the most technically knowledgeable person to be a mod, and none of the mods there built their own 12 second trucks. They just have to be good at moderating. I don't know that any of them claim to be know it all's.

I will go out on a limb and defent Hook'em Horns though. He's a good guy and really does know his stuff. I know he's got over 2 million OTR miles under his belt. He also is one of the most knowledgeable people on the site with regards to towing, and DOT issues. He also has done a couple very good how-to write up's and things of that nature. I just think him and Ben are on two different pages with their argument. Hook'em is talking about Light duty/medium duty according to DOT, and Ben is talking about LD/HD according to GM. And their both right from their respective view points.

Ya you dont really have to know that much to be a mod but I mean its a diesel performance site, I think the mods should at least have a general understanding. Like Aggar he knows alot and is a good mod.

Haha Peter Griffin:rofl:

I was laughin at that too. Especially because my friends dad is just like him and we call him peter all the time

That sites going to shit real fast. The tech badge thing has and is changing. There are only like 12 people with them now and there trying to get them to knowledgeable people. As far as knowing things dmax related and being a mod, I feel you dont have to know shit about our trucks, you need to know how to moderate. I think tank could be a good mod if he would ease up and not single people out. He is always online and catches everything. He just needs to calm down quite a bit. Its the mods that "think" they know shit that are becoming a problem. If they dont agree with you or you say there wrong, they edit it to hell and make you look wrong. Its happened to me a few times, and I see it on almost a daily basis over there.

The mods over there really need to lay back a bit. They also say the vendors and members are always complaining about something, yet I find it hard to belive. I'd say 90% of the people that post at least once a day are on the same page as most of us and dont complain about anything. there are complainers, they are very far in between.....

anyway, it doesnt really matter, I have learned to just overlook a lot of people and not judge anyone through the internet. Meeting them in person is a completely different story. I realize everyone gets a little hot headed on the forums once in awhile, and in real life there really not like that.

I agree with that post 100%, THats why im no longer on the staff there. THe site was not going in the same direction it was when Andy started it and brought me on to run it ( most folks dont even remember those days). My big thing with that site when i was in charge was for it never to be over modded but the new owners, some of the new staff and members like killerbee, newley, honda and most of the duramaxtuner crew always seem to push things to far causing things to happen like they did and people to have no respect for them!
