you know some guy up there who has a red slightly lifted d-max, chrome wheels, stacks and pulls some? He comes this way every now and then talks how bad his truck is on a stock trans no lift pump, drives it to all the pulls. wins and never breaks?? I've seen him at TS and local pulls here but never saw him pull,,,,,, till late last year lol.

Sounds like the kid from Orleans that told me he was making 700hp with a PPE hot 2, no lift pump, ATS Extreme Tranny, and stock turbo. Said he beat Reisert and a black/dark grey extended cab shortbed duramax with duals at Tampico in the fall:roflmao:

For the guy's with aftermarket intake manifolds,

What are you using for the high pressure fuel lines? Is there a good aftermarket source for un-bent lines in various lengths or anything? Or is everyone just re-bending some of there stock lines?

Exergy will make you whatever you want, haven't found anyone else who will make less than 25 of one line...

I think his name is Chris Lilly. His truck's a turd lol I put 5' on him then rehooked and put close to 20' on him with a stock trans and only ~21k rail pressure :( at ohio county. His truck doesn't hook up very well, he needs different tires.

His dad has a nice 6.4 dually he tows it around with from time to time, so no it doesnt get driven to every pull lol.

That's my biggest issue is I can't afford to go to a 2.6 class and compete (atleast around here). You have to have 800 hp and duals probably to be competitive. I am looking for workstock classes that have an OEM charger rule that pay well. If I go to a 2.6, I think my days of daily driving it are pretty much done, and I can't afford that either.:spit: If I go to that extreme, I would change wheel bases first I think.

You should look into going down to Kentucky and pulling the B.O.B work stock series a few times

It depends, I have pulled against 'some' 2.6 dodges and did well (within 5-10 feet of the winning dodge). But an S400/Garrett/Precision/Bullseye 2.6 Duramax I am lucky to be within 20-30 feet of Wade Wright and Jermey Goyings etc etc. There is a huge step there going to duals fuelers and dual tires.

We bent some stock lines, and got 2 high pressure braided lines from Industrial Injection.

I'll prolly get a schooling down there from everything I have heard about the Kentucky pullers.:)

They get pretty out of control with their ws pullers down there. Fully built engines that are only a turbo, nozzles and another pump away from competing with the big boys in 2.6. I've got a couple engines here that were gonna go 2.6 but the owners decided to go ws and we used/are still using the same internals the engines were gonna get as 2.6" trucks.
