What else can be used besides a Bosch ECM?

He means he got involved since they switched the car over to LBZ electronics I believe.

This is awesome for John. He's helped countless people in the Dmax world and has not asked for a thing in return and I'm glad he's got the chance to be involved in something like this.

Volker uses some Seimens BSG ECM from what have been told. But I have never actually seen one in person. So I could be misinformed.

Anyway it now runs a LBZ ECM and runs good.

On a soft launch today it went 10.0 @ 144.9.

John is awesome! I can't thank him enough for all of his help. I can do machine work, build engines and fabricate all day long, but without his tuning help it would not have even started and ran. He still isn't satisfied with the tuning completely. It's just the best we could muster with the time given. Thanks, I can't wait to get these things really dialed in an running to their full potential!

Just as a point of reference, 147 MPH-ish is good for 9.20s, maybe a teen...

Keep playing with the launch and you'll pick up half a sec...Awesome...

Go Head an blame it on me Jeff!:happy2:

Thanks for coming out Trails! We had an awesome time.

This car is out of Texas? What part?

Yep. Wichta Falls, Texas Home of NX and The Auto Shop!

He left easy just to get it down the track and see what the new tune up would do. Ran great.:happy2:

It has gone 1.35 60' with a higher rpm luanch off the brake and the front wheels in the air. If we can put it all together in one pass it could be a low 9 sec pass with the tune up in it. Time will tell if it happens.

This car has 8's written all over it. :D I'd like to know the specs on the converter being used and who built it. I believe the proper converter will put this thing in the 8's. ( with proper traction and going straight )

Coan

Converter works great.
The real trick part is the trans brake. It makes things so much easier.
