What is the benefit of switching balancers? I believe I read about some guys having issues with aftermarket Balancers:confused: Can you still use your factory balancer after you change your Rods/pistons ETC.. to Aftermarket components with different weight?

Im using stock balancer after rebuild and balancing . I dont see the need of them unless you are going big #'s . And theyre pretty :D

I do wish I had keyed my crank . The balancer sheering thing made me really mad . It was tight , just not tight enough I guess . Ive never had any I did come loose , just when dealer touched mine . Never again though .

Biggest thing is to get under your truck while idling and look at your stockers for wobble . Changed one out on mine that looked like it was dropped or something and had a slight wobble . Dont know how or why , but it was not exceptable and changed out with new . It was the one that spun and maybe this caused it to shift on rubber dampener .
