has anything in the system been replaced before or did this just all of a sudden happen? give us details of when it started happening and what you were doing.

you may have a bad BCM or need a new cal flashed in if we are missing a part of the story here.

stop being so vague. we are not there to see and mess with it. all we have to go off is text.

when did you buy it, who did you buy it from (dealer, private party, ect), did they tell you it didnt work, do you have any service records on it, how many miles on it since, are there other parts of the truck not working like a power window button, power mirrors. Is the truck a base model, slt, etc.

you need to paint the full picture for us.

Is the truck a base model work truck that perhaps someone has added the cruise control turn signal lever to, or perhaps the truck was tuned with a calibration that doesn't have cruise control enabled in the ECM? The system isn't that complicated, so if you're sure everything else checks out, it would seem to me like it is an issue in the ECM.

Yup. ECM takes all the cruise inputs from the turn signal stalk & basically runs the cruise control in the LB7. If all wiring problems / sensor input issues have been ruled out, I do think it's possible that someone flashed a tune on the truck like a decent chance someone flashed the ECM with the wrong calibration.

Who ordered and installed the autocal? Are you certain the truck was originally equipped with cruise from the factory? Can you get a picture of the RPO tag in the glovebox and post it here?

What he said. Almost any code will stop the cruise from working. I think it ways gm's way to get people in for service.

may be way off here but with my "mileage tune" i am only allowed to set my cruise at 55 MAX, it is only in that tune. Other tunes = any number so it could be in your current tune?

I am prob 100% wrong on this, so if so, i apologize and dont listen to my ramble
