New motor socal stroker

Well i have sold the Stock LBZ motor and am the new owner of 1 of Guys Socal stroker motors.

The specs are
7.1 stroker assembly
Carillos
Forged mahle pistons coated
14mm head studs
stage 2 heads
socal cam
billet main caps
100% over injectors
ATS manifolds and up pipes
turbonetics pedastal

Now for the fun parts. I have not decides on turbos yet but i hope to purchase them very soon. Will be running twins for sure just got to sort out my end goals for the truck. Thinking of maybe trying to run 9 flat or a little quicker. i thing it is a goal to shoot for. With the power i think i can make from the engine combo.

I have also put it on a diet and started to remove some more weight. I am trying to get it down below 4400lbs. Hopefully 4200 or less

I will post up some picture of it on the standard, I have repainted the engine body colour and had all the brackets powder coated gloss black.

Cheers Heath

Awesome Heath , looks like it is coming along , haven't seen you on here since we talked and wondered how the project was coming , post up some pics and I think at that weight it should be able to dip into the 8's if you can get it to hook :happy2:

Thanks guys.

Yeah its going to be a hell of a ride, thats for sure.
I am a little apprehensive to be honest, it was a handlefully with the stock motor. So i am going to invest a bit in the suspension setup to be safe. But hey we can creep up on the power and see what it does.

Hey trent, thanks for all your advise i appreciate it. Will be intouch soon to see what we can do for some turbos. I am liking that FBK a lot. Think one of those would look sweet hanging of the side of this motor.

Will post up some picture see what you guys think.

Fuel Systems

Ok lets talk fuel systems!!

What has been working for these motors setups. I know it really comes down to what the end results i am looking for will be. But i think overkill it now so i dont need to do much later on.

So i was thinking, please make some suggestion if you dont think this will work. Or have a better system. I am all ears only new to this remember.

Fuel cell, 5/8 line, Twin 150gph pumps, Twin 5/8 lines to custom rails on engine ( To balance both the pumps). Then one feed to each cp3 pump. Ok so what have i missed? What would be the options for fuel filters and such?

intercooler

I am going to use A.R.E. www.are.com.au here in australia. They have had very good sucess with big hp/custom 1 off intercoolers. They have also done all my intercoolers in the past. With good results.

Not sure if its going to be air/air or water to air yet will have to see what sort of figures we come up with when they see the truck and turbo combination i decide apon.
