Hey mate you gotta let me know when you get it going and are gonna take it to the strip, I'd definitely come down to see that.
That would be awesome having a Duramax in a D40 Navara/Frontier.
Did someone already do a Duramax or Cummins 6bt conversion in a Patrol GR Y60?
My buddy is looking to get some more hp out of his 2.8l td, or might swap the motor...

Plenty of space under that intake manifold, sure you can't cram a few more turbo's in there! Ha ha.
That is wicked. You guys really know how to do it down in Oz. I can't imagine how much harder it is to find diesel shops and parts for Dmax's down there. I bet the shipping company loves you.
Yeah Water/Air. The blue hose is the water inlet and outlets.
Its an offset 4 tanks system, water enters the coolers from the center and exits out the front and back to give even cooling thru out the cooler. When it was designed and computer modelled. It was decide that the cooler would be to long to give even cooling to all cylinders. The water would heat up to much from front to rear. So a 4 tank system was choosen to elimnate this.

Is that center bar your sway bar? What is on the ends, bearings or tension joints?

when you told me the inter cooler would go through the bonnet you didnt say it would take the place of the bonnet!
