Just read this entire thread, nice truck you have! sucks the luck you had though. While I don't agree that a straight pipe should void all warranty but in fact it does increase power beyond stock. If taken too court that will be considered a power adding mod and in fact void the warranty. However, you were tuning it and adding more power. To me that is kissing your warranty good bye . It's a chance we all take when doing so . If you want a warranty keep it stock and if you want to mod it then take it as it comes .

If you would have hid or at least had stock parts on (i.e. no monitor, no exhaust , basically no modification red flags) not saying that's an ethical thing to do in fact quite the opposite. But if your tune was still in the ecm then that alone would be enough for denial of warranty and rightly so.

Time to make it stronger now, with every failure opens an opportunity.

Well this happened this weekend...

Not suppose to just loose a bolt cruising down the highway. So I improvised to get her home and get a tow truck out

Getting her sent out to Lead Foot Diesel Performance to see what needs to happen since I recently got kryptonite tie rods. Duramax Store is backing me up stating improper install from Firestone Auto Care who stated, "these are difficult to install" but went ahead and installed them, they also wanted to sell me factory tie rods. going to be a long week.

TX of course
I would let jiffy lube work on my truck before firestone. They did a lot of work on our fleet account and they screwed everything up. I think they get the rejects from tech school.

Yeah I had them do a oil change for me and the guy said he was almost going to charge me for the oil filter housing cause the shoved a flat head through the filter instead of just unscrewing it and so I ask, "you sure you're turning the filter the correct way?"

Well 2017 hasn't been the greatest.. long story short someone tried to steal the truck and decided since they couldn't steal it they would vandalize it. Had 16K worth of damage.. truck totaled due to being over 80% of damage vs value of truck.
