New update: Josh said the warranty company is going to send someone out to look at the truck. He said they are trying to argue that a 5" MBRP Straight pipe could cause the issue... Really?? I swear if they try to pull that..
That sucks man.
Well if it comes to where they won't cover it I have a built motor for sale. Would split it up and sell it as a short block. If you wanted to go that route.

I had an extended warranty on my truck because I planned on keeping this one stock. When I started having emission issues and took it in they said my warranty was voided because of my fass... I tried arguing but didn't get anywhere so I just chalked it up as a learning experience. I've always heard most of them aren't worth the paper they're printed on. That would be dumb as shit to turn you down for an exhaust. They should have to prove without a doubt that modification caused the failure.
I agree 100%. They should have covered the Trans hoses without questioning your maintenence. What do you do to Trans lines anyways maintenence wise or am I not doing something I should be:roflmao:
Yeah but I meant the lines. Hell you don't even flush these Trans, change the spin on, fluid, and your good to go. I don't change my internal unless I'm going into the Trans.
I don't see how they could legally void the warrant on the motor for a straight pipe though.
"I was getting my custom tune put on......."
Pretty sure your "extended warranty" ended there. Take them to court when you're under oath be sure and tell the truth and nothing but the truth.
Well guys. I'm currently looking for some Gorilla Connecting Rods for the Engine. Doing a rebuild.
That's Carrillo, Chris! Sorry my east texas accent wasn't more clear. :thumb:
