What made u tear your tranny down to look at your flexplate. Did it rattle while in park and all. Mine is making some rachet also just wanna see if thats why u did it so it saves me from tearing mine back down

Humm mine is making a little noise im think i may need to tear the tranny back down. If his was doing the same i will be ok because he sayed his checked out to be fine

I began hearing noise from the area. After reading the post about the flex plate problem with some converters, I decided I would be miserable if I didn't find the cause. It's funny that I found the cause after putting the trans back in. :confused::confused::confused::confused:

Wouldn't it be nice if the Allison had an inspection cover on the bottom of the bell housing so you could have a look see in there? but then again it is so easy just to yank the tranny:D
