What made u tear your tranny down to look at your flexplate. Did it rattle while in park and all. Mine is making some rachet also just wanna see if thats why u did it so it saves me from tearing mine back down

Humm mine is making a little noise im think i may need to tear the tranny back down. If his was doing the same i will be ok because he sayed his checked out to be fine
I began hearing noise from the area. After reading the post about the flex plate problem with some converters, I decided I would be miserable if I didn't find the cause. It's funny that I found the cause after putting the trans back in.
Wouldn't it be nice if the Allison had an inspection cover on the bottom of the bell housing so you could have a look see in there? but then again it is so easy just to yank the tranny
