Hey Chelsie, welcome-
Well this escalated quickly, huh?
:roflmao:

Cool rig :thumb:

Got a question for ya....
Did the noise you're hearing occur after the accident?

I ask bcuz there could be more damage from it than the cosmetic damage you see and you might not wanna sign off on the claim just yet :(

I'm thinking the rear axle could've shifted and tweaked a u-joint or maybe the impact even tweaked the Axel enough to affect a bearing???

I dunno, just a thought
Is there any vibration that happens as well, or just the noise?
Ah well, Im sure you'll get it figured out

Good luck and Happy New Year!

Hey, Jason. No, it actually started after I did one little rolling burnout & hit a pothole. I listened to the noise more as I was leaving, and it does sound like a ujoint. Turned around & just pulled the driveshaft. Rear ujoint is good, as it should be because I just replaced it maybe 5 months ago, so now I'm going to have all of the fun getting the front one out.

Just wanted to say hi to everyone. My name is Chelsie, I've got an 06 LBZ. I'm always browsing through forums when I'm stumped with a problem regarding the truck, so I figured I'd make an account.

Did you check the front u-joint in the read d-shaft out real well also? I helped a friend track down a weird squeak in his lifted LMM, front u-joint was hammered.

That's what I just took out lol. Went & bought a bench press & it was too small to even put the F'in thing in so I had to hammer it out anyways. All the bearings looked fine so I have no idea. Got the new one & I'm on my way home now. Will keep you guys updated!

Put the rear on jack stands, and chock the front tires. Start the truck and put it in gear. Then you can start looking around.
