Ya I'm sure they are I keep forgetting to get a price for them when I'm there. But ya know there are lots of dozers just siting on the side of the road.....

I still think they have a ways to go before I'd invest in them. If I wanted a bunch more light I would do a Morimoto Mini H1 Bi-xenon Retrofit in the highs maybe the lows, and fogs even.
I'm more then happy with my 45w hids in denali projectors. Don't even hardly need my brights.

For sure! My key ring has 96 keys on it

Do the retrofit, you won't regret it. I love mine.

3 layers of chop mat in, letting it cure overnight. Stuff doesn't set up as fast in a ~68* shop. Should have mixed my batches with more hardener.

I may have missed this but are you going to use center row buckets out of a Suburban for your rears?

Yep, I already have them.

Some progress:

Still haven't decided the contour for the top of the console. Kinda depends how I decide to mount the subwoofers.

These showed up today

Too low for me but I can mount them up higher by about 3" so they are nice and tucked up. There was a hole there so I threw it in to see how it would look.

I think I'm going to mount it behind the valence and not in it. It shows too much and looks out of place.

Very bright

Very cool nice how that fits in that area in front but might have to trim/body work to get it in there like ya like , thought about something like a narrow light bar(s) under the bumper somehow? or an actuator that runs off the reverse circuit to lower the lights from in front of the rear bumper?

Actuators would be really cool but aren't they pretty expensive? I was thinking about doing an iPad for my headunit awhile ago and I was going to use an actuator to open/close the slot to pull it out and I remember them being expensive.

Any links of what you had in mind would be awesome. Don't know much about them.

Ok did a little research and the actuators I did find are real expensive, however I was thinking that you could get a couple window motors fairly reasonable and come up with a mounting system wire them together and put a three way switch/ window switch hidden in the cab so you can put them up and down as you need, wire the lights to the reverse lights, it'd be sweet if you could make them come down when you put it in reverse but how you would make it work is above my wireing skills

Maybe a windshield wiper motor could work too. I have some of those hanging around.

The way they will be mounted I doubt they will stick out much

Will the center console run front to back? How many and what kind of subs are you planning on running? When i can find some time i want to build a box that will go in the console and house 1 down-firing 12'' sub.

Late night in the shop.

Was in the shop all night trying to get something done with the console.

Nice fit along the floor, going to be this way all the way around when done.

It still comes out of the truck.... barely. Going to be a heavy SOB when I'm done + 74lbs of subs and actually finished.

Reverse lights are in. You can't see them unless you are looking up from the bottom of the bumper as your line of sight.

Mounted front 20" bar... there were already holes that match up perfect, I just had to redrill holes higher up to get teh bar height correct in the opening

Put this connector on the bar for the time being. It is wired in with the fog lights.

Tapped of the fog lights for now
