Ok so i went to the track alittle while back and ran a [email protected] with a sixty foot of 1.7778. The tranny is completely stock and was wondering how far i can go?? Can i make it into the 12 second range?? Try so hard i just don't know what else i can do to this thing?? I know i need a tranny, but want to hit the 12's first!!:D

if you get that 60' into mid 1.6's you'll be close but the MPH isn't quite there...

turn the tune up a little,...if you don't care about the trans that is

I ran 12.9's with a 09 LMM CC/SB with a stock trans & a trans go jr. shift kit.

26,000 miles and 30+ dragstrip passes and it never limped:confused:

I'm going to see what my stock trans can possibly do this weekend if we can make it to the track. Lbz SC/LB 2wd.. I'd like to see what it can do in stock form before I drop the race motor and tranny in.. Congrats on the times bud!!!

Thats awsome man! Best I ran was a 13.6@99 on just a transgo Jr, no liftpump and on the edge evo race 100hp tune.I'm sure with a airdog and bigger tune I'd be low 13s

:thumb:Thanks guys. I know i had a half tank of fuel, so i'll try and run it really low. I get my guy to play with the tune abit and see what happens. :D

13.3 @ 100 here, extra cab 4x4 short bed with a little weight reduction... guessing 440-450ish whp? Would have trapped better but I keep it in 4th gear and rev it's brains out. Only a 1.8 60ft spinning. I wouldn't push it too much further, but if you can get to 100-101mph and a slightly lower 60 ft (maybe dump some weight?) you can possibly hit 12's!! I would like to do this myself, but my track is not prepped and I can't hook over 5-6psi and have decided to give up before I blow it up. It gets beat on enough not at the track :rofl:

thanks man. i'm going to try dropping the tire pressure, and maybe drop 200-300lbs more. Run it on empty:D See what we can get out of her. :thumb:

I don't know if running it on empty is going to help you. It might actually hurt you. If you have less fuel then the hotter it is going to be. Also I have had my try lose power after going under 1/4 tank because it wouldn't pick the fuel up.
On the other hand I think you got a 12 in her. Lighten it up and good luck!

My buddy Vince in Mo has ran 12.55 with just the 300ppe tune on stock trans. RCSB, 4 inch turbo back, afe intake. I 've seen the slip and doug at PPE has also.

Oh come on peeps! If my pig can run a 13.20 @106 with a stock trans surely there has to be more left in these trucks ;)

lol nice. how the heck are you guys getting 106mph?:confused: i've tried so hard!!! My budddies duramax is running at 12.87 and he only crosses the line at 106mph!! :confused:
