ya i think the reg cab short box might have a little bit of a weight advantage. It woud be much easier to clip the 12 sec mark then.
new time on stock trans and converter!!! 12.99@101 truck weighed in at 6300lbs. temp was cold at 10degrees celcius!
Did he have specter stickers from auto zone? If so, that's prob. Why he went 12.5
I concur with Tark, Vince has a quick LBZ for what he's done. I didn't witness the 12.55 but he ran 12.6 something at World Finals after we changed the uppipe in the parking lot between passes!!!
Good going man! I went 12.994 @ 103 mph on stock trans at 6200 lbs. Different vehicle though, that was on 33 inch mud terrains

This truck has the current record still for a stock truck (RCSB is not stock) The vid shows a 12.79 but it went 12.78 once as well. Truck has been sold for over a year now. EFI tune, raptor pump and straight pipe were only mods.

THOSE ARE SICK TIMES FOR A STOCK TRANS. Congrats! now built it and see how deep in the 12's you can go with your stock injectors/charger.
That truck was sold a year or so ago. It got a built trans a few weeks after that vid by Fleece and went 12.5s all day at TS but never could get a better run out of it.
And Brayden said that trans was showing signs of major slippage already so don't put it off too long.

Congrats!! I'm considering changing my tune to let the truck shift into 5th instead of revving it way out. Staying in 4th past 4000 rpms killed my back half. Looks like yours is taking it pretty well!! again, nicely done!
yeah you've got a transgo, just manual shift into 5th when you let off a little bit. should net you much better timeage
i've been trying different things, but definetly will try shifting into 5th on the top. just need to work on what rpm to do it at. thanks.
thats about all i can do with about 7,500 more invested in mine than yours
