Yeah it sounds amazing I still just go drive it sometimes to listen to it :roflmao: you can hear the tires break loose at 50mph when full boost comes on. That was a 40mph roll and I straight mashed the pedal no rolling into it.

Mark said I should be 550-675 depending on the truck and conditions. I’m at 3200uS and 26’ timing. The 10mm pump definitely helps as my 160k cp3 didn’t keep up with my vgt. I know my vgt wasn’t cleaning up fuel like this thing does. I still always had a slight haze with the vgt.

I know it runs way harder than the vgt did. It pulls so hard up top, the needle doesn’t slow down ever lol. I’ve only ran it up to about 100mph so far. I’ll bet I’m 600+ forsure.

Did you have to ask Mark to get that aggressive with the tuning? I’m running ppei with the exact same set up as you, 369sxe with a 10mm stroker with stock sticks and I asked Kory to get aggressive and I’m only at 2700uS. Made 584 and 1018 like that. I was really hoping for over 600....

lol I’m getting new 100s if PayPal will get me my money back on those bad ones.

Kunz, I had Kory tune my old vgt at 3300uS for almost 2 years. You have to tell him what you want. His customer base is too big, I’m sure he gets hundreds of people saying make my truck run hard or aggressive almost everyday. Then when it blows up they come and blame him.

500uS is a pretty big difference. I’ll bet I’m a good 625hp if you put that down. What kind of altitude are you at? I’m at 1400ft.

I’m just east of you in the twin cities area Minnesota. I’m going to some bigger injectors this winter, so I’ll need a retune. Just don’t know if I’m going to stick with korynor go to mark.

there's more to a tune, and certainly the case in a tune that is kind to your stock internals, than just comparing pulsewidth at top rpm WFO :thumb:

hes keeping you from blowing pistons and you are making some damn good power. i would not be pissed about that. you are also stuck on a dyno number that can vary quite a bit. enough that that number you posted could be over 600 on a different dyno. i would not concern myself with that number as much as i would with a track time. that will be more accurate.

if you want more, call PPEI and tell them you want a 3250 tune. i doubt he will say no but just know you are not helping anything last and could hurt a piston, then put your new injectors in and only finish it off and will be sitting there scratching your head going "wth, everyone said larger injectors are safer on stock motors". ive seen this a few times.

James anyway to tell if you have a hurt piston? I have ran a very hot tune for 2 years now. I would hate to be that guy putting some 100 overs in and have it let go

only way to know is to drop a bore scope in each cyl and look at lips of the piston or over the wrist pin area for cracks/erosion. or pull the heads but thats no fun

Hmm I think some 100s and praying sounds more fun lol. Winters coming anyways I’m usually nicer to it in the winter because you don’t even hook up
