New rape whistle

I got the truck up and running last night after installing the gt5541r in place on my old borg 98mm.

Took it for a test drive and WOW. It needs some MAF rescaling since this new intake is 6" but even with fuel limiting, It spools better than the 98mm borg did. The whistle is insane.

I still need to sand blast the pipes, paint, relocate the FICM and just clean everything up. But so far I am extremely pleased with it.





So far from the driving I did last night, the gt55 is making 35psi with 80psi total boost.

What size/type of turbine housing did you go with?

It's the 1.0ar turbine housing. I can't wait to get the maf rescaled and actually have fuel off the line. The gt55 is amazing! I crapped when I first heard it start spooling.

S475 sounds like a stock turbo in comparison

I get my flanges from industrial injection. They're just down the road from me. They have a room that's like floor to ceiling with every adapter, flange, clamp or fitting you can dream of.
