Someday I would like to go to normalville. I'm afraid it would scare me though and I would quickly go back to F'D Up Land!!

Well, we left out about 6:30AM Sat. morning, arrived at dude's house around 1:30PM. Took care of a little paper work, got it loaded and jabber jawed a little bit and were back on the road again by 3:30PM. It took us a good bit longer to get home due to stopping for a well needed rest and supper in Columbus, OH at the Logan's. yummmo! I love that place!

Got home around 12:30AM Sun morning all in tact and well. Did tear the rag joint out of the steering shaft loading it so I have to fix that before unloading then she just sits and waits. :D

I think the truck is in pretty good shape. Like most older trucks, it has some issues but unless it's a show truck or newly restored, it's gonne have it's quirks. By in large though, it's in really good shape. It's pulling name is "Never Satisfied" but I think that's already taken by someone with a diesel. I know there is someone with that screen name on TDP so I don't think it'll be keeping that name.

I like Busted Knuckles or Holy Smoke. My good friend really wants me to call it "The Bastard Rat." The fiance is in the air on the name - and I kinda left that up to her, within reason, meaning it can't be something stupid - so we'll see.

I would have loved to of met up with some you all in the area. We didn't stick around long though. :D

Dang you were about 30 minutes from my house at Columbus
And about 15 from diesel pilot

Dammit, looks like I missed about half of Team Salad on this little escapade. :(

If you tear up your dana 60 let me know i have 3 of them

Will keep you in mind... do you have any Ford HP D60s??? :D Actually, I'm kinda starting to lean towards a body swap rather than drivetrain swap.

Dang Mitch, if it was the Logan's right off of I-70 in front of an HH Greeg, that's really close to my house. I had lunch there last Thursday.

I like those little burgers on the rolls they have, mmmmmm...... little burgers.....

yep, that's the one. Good eats and even seen someone working the bar that I had in class back at Western Kentucky Univ. Crazy!

That is my Dream Truck

That truck with a 12 Valve Cummins in it I would trade for my Duramax in 1 second

And a couple years later it's finally about to start...

Thats both trucks loaded on a 40' trailer being pulled by an 05 zf6 dmax. He's gonna help with the conversion for some parts off the donor. :) So excited to finally actually get this thing going. We're gonna try really hard to have it together for a pull here in Dec. if they'll invite me. It won't have the built motor in it by then, just throw some big injectors in it with dual cp3 and a charger and have a go at it. I'll do the motor over the winter when I can afford the rods and rest of the parts. I've already got cam and pistons. The final verdict was to do a body swap, not put the drivetrain in the 83 chassis. The main factors in deciding to do that is the mucho stronger 06 frame compared to the 83, the engine, ZF6, transfer case, and rear end all BOLT INTO the 06 chassis and making body mounts is hopefully gonna be a great deal easier than making engine and trans mounts and stiffening the 83 frame. :) So, the 06 cab should be off by the end of the week. The allison et al already has a purchaser. 06 seats are going in the 83. Then we'll fit the 83 cab to the 06 chassis while Ben does his thing with the harness. ;)

If your gonna need to stretch the frame on the 06 I'd check to see if that will pass tech, I'm sure you checked already though I'm just lookin out for ya
