I've never really paid attention so is this the fastest manual diesel or just fastest manual Duramax?

I'm pretty sure it's diesel, there's a dodge running 11.67. There was a golf on the list to but it was a lower 11.48x. I thought it was a us record. They announced it as a world record at the track. I couldn't tell ya for sure really. I know there's an article about dirk that says it's the fastest diesel record in general.

I got that in mind also, just as long as it don't burn the clutch on the full throttle shifts.

if you get the size right, it wont but it will help with the hit. you would never be able to duplicate with your foot and you would probably never notice the orifice in normal driving (not that you do that lol).

that in cab view is awesome!

I thinks marks tunes arr why it's still alive, I actually have a rev limiter unlike a previous tuner I had, and it dynoed 1084 ft pounds at 743 hp

I'm to dumb to not have a rev limiter, I tried that on the LLY and that bastard would rev past 5 grand and black out the hillside.

Tuning plays a huge role in wheather it lives or not, that low torque is saving it I'm sure.

Yes, torque is the evil that tears shit up! There definitely isn't any guarantees when doing the fun shit we do but I try to keep as much of it in one piece as possible for as long as possible!:thumb:

I'm very impressed so far, can't wait to get a 100 hp tune for the daily from you. Only thing I would change on the red one is of we could figure out more boost on the launch somehow

I think a slick dead hooking will wanna bog ot more but I'm gonna run the shorter 28x10x16 hoosier I think. Short enough to give me a slight gear reduction on the launch plus some wrinkle to soften the blow of the clutch dump.
