No, and I don't consider a fully electronic transmission with tuning stock either :hug:

I would just like to see some of these fords start pullin at some of the pulls. I dont live the far from the Innovative guys and all the 6.0s around here are running his tunes. They cant not run with a Duramax with a Edge box, let alone something with EFI in it. I just want to compete with some good 6.4s, all i have seen out of them is dyno #s. Maybe some will man up this year.

The last pull around here, there was Magazine Cover 6.4 with massive HP. A TS Performance build IIRC.

I think it went 8th place in WS. Dmaxes were 1,2,3, and a CR in 4th.

just like the Cummins they are always good for HUGE hp/tq numbers... i have yet to date dynoed over 600hp yet am 10mph faster in the 1/4 than several CR's that have dynoed 650hp+

So is a tune only dmax stock? We are spliting hairs here guys. I would like to meet a ford that can run. Actually, i havent come across an lbz that will run with my old "dumb" lb7:angel:

No. If I put a tune in and go run a mid 13, can I say I ran a 13 with a stock truck?

the curve tells the story, not the peak....
shift points, and shift recovery, transmission efficiency etc etc....

you guys know its about putting the power to the tires and the curve, not the peak number

I would think they have a generally flay torque curve with twins... And they still cant beat a Duramax :thumb:

Tuning doesnt change the "stockness" of a vehicle IMHO

I'm with you guys, there are alot of big number dodges and fords, that don't perform like a DMAX with less than them. Most ford and dodge guys are always telling you the numbers they put down.
