Mike L Springs installed. Much smoother operation. I really notice also while slowing down trans shifts down nice and easy. The 4-3 rough down shift is history. Highly recommended!

help! Please!!

I had a major brain fart with the vb apart on my bench. I'm finally figuring out which bolts gobackwhere, when I see this spring laying there! It's about 1/4" dia and about 1.5" long. Please help! Mike's not at the shop - I tried to call.

Thanks!

don't you love it when an easy job turns to shit, lol. I m dropping back in to update - this is a NICE upgrade! Not only are the shifts better but it feels like it holds power better in 6th with the tcc locked. I used to get a shutter on moderate highway 6th gear throttle that I'm not getting now unless I give a lot more throttle. I am also snicking off shifts better in the big tune than before. This might keep my stock trans living a little longer. Thanks Mike!

Are you guys relearning the trans or going into fast learn with these springs? Installed them this weekend and have driven about 40 miles since wasn't sure if i should or not.

Dumb question of the day about these springs.. Been driving a buddies truck with them for about a week now. Do they make the trans hold gears longer? Maybe it's just been forever since I've drove a 5 speed alli and I've forgot how they act.

Truck is an 03 and trans tuning is stock. We flashed it back to stock when he bought it since the p.o. Had the trans tuning all screwed up.

It's always held that gear too long. That Trans is a Frankenstein so who knows maybe someday I'll have my hero Mike L build me a good one
