If your in MN and we can meet somplace I would gladly let u try it b4 u buy it. If you buy it and don't like it i will refund your money less shipping once I get it back and check to make sure the license is still good. What kind of labor? FYI my truck with stock trans would limp with anything over 90hp tune if I didn't let off b4 70mph
im just givin you shit im not up there now stationed in el paso, for another 6 months i've never had mine go into a limp what does it do exactly? construction anything on your house, garage or driveway! maybe when i get home we could meet up, what town in central, im from n. branch on the east central part.
Transmission know when your trying to hurt it, the clutches slip and it shuts you down so the damage is minimal.
Hypertech and Super Chips are very safe to run on your truck, the tuning is very conservative IMO. The reason people don't like them is they don't do a good job making sure all the systems are happy with there tunes, thats why your check engine light is on. You would be fine to run it in your truck tell you can afford somthing better or find someone to tune your truck for you.
thats good what do i do so i dont have any future problems like that, some kind of kit or tc or both? i always hear of people getting a heavier duty tc, but they run cummins, i dont no anyone who plays around with the dmax
what am i looking at 4 an upgrade which one would do me best? any suggestions if im gonna do it now would be the time, cuz i dont wanna toast my tranny that would hurt bad the pocket book and its the only vehicle i have down here, so i would be super hosed!!!
dude dont even worry about it your nowhere near blowing your tranny...just run a nice comfortable 100hp tune and you'll be fine...no need to spend 4gs for something your not going to need right this second
