i gotta question for you, typically whats the first thing people do to increase power and at what point do you have to bump the tranny up?
For you lb7 chumps a boost increase valve from ppe (best bang for the buck)
an exhaust and a tuner....peolpe say that after 90 hp increase your tranny starts to fail
but I think it's more just depends how you beat on it

yeah i dont believe that 90 rule ive been on the 135 tune for a while beating it, even with my tire selection she can still rock to 130mph
whats the boost increase valve is that like the adjustable deal that goes on the waste gate vacum hose or something else and is the efi live a tuner or is that something on top of everything else
EFI is a tuner but it is a custom tuning device. You hook the handheld to your truck and pull the stock tuning out of your truck ecm and then you put it on you lap top and mess and twist some numbers around (be sure you know what you are doing or know someone who does anyone here is williing to help you learn) and your truck can go from 1 hp increase to 300 horse increase depends on how bad you wanna be

does any1 have a suggestion for an intake i was thinkin the afe stage 2 cold air type cx 54-10782 i cant tell if it uses the maf or not though

Like Jordan said EFI Live is more of a custom tuning software and a handheld you can get tunes made from "Tuners" we have a few here and they are good a what they do. You can also have as many tunes as you want you just load a new one in. Also you can get a DSP2 or DSP5 switch that you have have more than one tune loaded in to the ECM at a time and change with a twist of the knob.
ok gotcha i just read up on that ppe boost valve that sounds like a good deal, i could use my old hyper tech tuner but someone was tellin me that it was good that i stopped using it, otherwise i gotta figure out what tuner i want to try and get
