Yes, it is a drop in but requires a water line kit and you have to modify the mouthpiece also. Other than that it is a drop in.

Jason,
Glad you like it, I really miss it on my truck! Really don't care for the S468 I am running right now but testing is testing.

Speaking of testing if you need a zf-6 truck to test one id be more than happy :D

Modify the mouthpiece in which way? I have a twin kit made up for a 4094vvt and I want to use this in place of a 4094.

Ive got one on a customers LML. Sounds awesome. I think it needs some more tuning tho! Hint hint mark..... LML tuning please!!!!!

I had to change to coolant line to a lly-lmm as well as the oil drain. Also had to do some modifying on the mouth piece to get it to clear. You need a lly-lmm downpipe too.

Keep us posted. Is it there newest cheetah

The Fleece Cheetah's I've installed are the 63mm billet 7 blades with large compressor exducers...

I think the 3794 Danville may be a little more responsive or quicker spooling than the Fleece... I think the Fleece maybe pulls a (very minimal) little harder on top end, also very close to tell. The Fleece also whistles a little louder and differently than the Danville, the Fleece definitely has a broader whistling range.

IMO the Danville is better "bang for the buck" because it is slightly cheaper, although Danville raised their initial website price from $1850 to $1950... I thought this charger would maybe cause Fleece to drop their 63mm billet price, but not as of yet.

Both are phenomenal drop in VGT's for the guys who aren't planning a built engine.

I want a new version 68mm Fleece with the 72mm turbine, but they say a built engine is required with decent supporting fuel mods... I have 30% nozzles and dual fuellers but don't want to put rods and pistons in my street truck though.

which one has a better exhaust/turbo brake?

I will try to do a comparison, all were customer trucks, so I never got to tow anything and any LMM turbo I've ever tuned for turbobrake works best empty truck. I do think the Fleece whistles harder during turbo braking, but I'm not sure if shaft speed and turbo drive is more or if it's partially due to the characteristics of the exhaust vane differences or compressor differences???

Not necessarily towing...just SOTP like if you're coming down a hill in tow/haul mode with the converter locked.

I love my stock LBZ turbo. It will literally throw you forward in the seat if you're coming down a hill and let off the throttle (and then vanes go to 100%). Stock LLY turbo, not so much...

I know no aftermarket VVT is going to have the extremely powerful brake that the stock LBZ's do...but I was wondering about where it falls. I dont tow all that much, I just like the feel of the aggressive exhaust brake when daily driving...I have mine "on" all the time.

Ben,
The 3794va will be exactly the same as the lly stock turbo on the turbo braking. The cheetah probably has a more aggresive brake since they normally used LBZ housing and vanes but not sure if they still do.

I can tell you the turbo brake on my LMM will hold 26,000lb @65mph going down a 5% grade in 5th gear. drop to 4th and the truck will slow down rather quickly.
it would not surprise me if I am able to get a wheel skid with turbo brake with an empty truck(no trailer) with a force down shift
