I'm building a dragster:woott: with a duramax. I was ready for a change and I never had a dragster before. It's a 4link/swing arm chassis from Ricky Adkins race cars. It's going to be a challenge get it to run like I want but I have never ran from a challenge. The truck is fun but im tired of working on something that' not made to work on. I just can't bring myself to cutting it up and I like driving it to much. i hope to have running by springtime. It will be under 2k pounds with me in it. This was my way of going on a diet and loosing weight!!! Now I have to too fit in the damn thing! I fit now but it still is motovation to loose weight. Jeff

Nice, Jeff. :thumb:I am looking at two differant rails. I am also still looking for a salvage lbz truck for motor and wiring. My neighbor said he will build me a powerglide with trans brake and lockup Hughs convertor for under 4K. They have used these trannies on 3000 hp gassers. Good luck, and hope to see it run soon.

Man, it shouldn't take insane power to go very fast at that weight!! This should be exciting! I was hoping to see you start a build thread after some recent hints you've posted! Good luck bud!
