If you put a lift on the 2014 GMC it would look a lot closer to the "All Terrain" concept.

If by similar you mean there both lifted, but the concept shared the same body and the GMT-900's with a different front clip and storage box for a bed. Maybe I'm greedy but I would have like to see them keep the same cab exterior (please spare me the super strength so protection with proprietery super metals speech Ben). Although a return to cab rockers if a good idea. I have liked all the new GM trucks to come out except for the 03-04 Silverado's right from the get go but I just cant get behind the new Chevy's.

The slab-sided doors on the GMT-900's did nothing for ding/dent protection. And the way the tops of the GMT-900 doors curls over the roof line like a clamshell is obnoxious in the winter; you open the door and half the snow on the roof falls right into the interior.

Like I said, im not making a definitive statement until I see one/drive one IN REAL LIFE. (I know its so easy to jump to a conclusion right now though, from what we've seen in a couple lousy low-res [doctored] photos.

Like the chevy 10x morevthan the gmc which is normally opposite for me.

I agree w/ whoever said the trailer brake control area looks funky. Those dials or knobs shoulda been up top & brake control down lower.

Big vertical vents look funny too. Love the cluster & radio/hvac control panel & steering wheel.

A truck like the GMT-900 GMC's deserve to be parked in the winter safe from the damaging road salt Ben, obviously thats what the GM engineers had in mind.

Didn't even think about that, the new doors are probably a lot better in winter. Whenever it snows here, I have to brush off the roof above the door, then I can get in. Otherwise I ride in a puddle...

The cab does look stronger. I'm interested if the rollover tests agree. Slap a LB7 (or the mythical 4.5L miniMax) in one and you have my attention!

I thought of the All Terrain HD concept when I saw them.

I love this design! Would definetly be interested in buying a Dmax that looked like that.

Still not really a big fan of the exterior on the new 1/2 ton. Really doesn't look like they changed a whole lot except the lights which I like. And those MotherF*&#$%ing square fenders HAVE TO GO!! They totally ruin the truck.

The interior looks pretty sweet though. I like it alot. I just hope the finish is as good as it looks.

But I could give two shits about the 1500 gassers. Where is the 4.5 Dmax 1/2 ton Goddammit!!:baby: And where is the new Dmax body changes? They are always a little different from the half tons.

I honestly haven't been a fan since the LMM came out. And will likely be keeping my LBZ for another 5 years unless something drastically changes with the lines in the new trucks.

but seriously, i really like the looks of the newer rigs! as well as the new drivetrains! boy sure makes me think twice about keepin the limo around. maybe ill return the old girl to stock and put her off in a corner so in 30-40 years when ever one is after that body style like the 69-72 trucks ill have a nice original one
