I have not liked the look of the silverado since 2008 I was hoping that the new 2014 would look different ,sorry the front still looks butt ugly I will be keeping my 2007 classic!

Like I said, I personally dont really care for the 2014 silverado. I dont think its "OMG HIDEOUS EWWWWEWEWEWEOMGOMGOMG STUPID GM", but its not my favorite. Im sure it will grow on me, just like every past silverado has.....

But the fact alone that they are much more capable trucks, new interior/infotainment, and all sorts of hardware/powertrain/structural improvements outweighs the fact that the silverado exterior sheet metal is only "meh" in my opinion.

The GMC, I love the way that one looks though.

I actually like the Chevy better than the GMC at first glance. I'll reserve judgment until I see them in person though. I love the GMT-800 (03-07 Classic) look, and don't like the 07-13 much. These new ones look better than the GMT-900s, but worse than the GMT-800. Just my personal style preference.

However, underneath these trucks are making me drool. Electric power steering, direct injection, a (finally) up to date DIC. Now I can get excited about that. Not sold on the vertical vents on the dash, but otherwise it looks sweet inside.

Now what excuse do I have to buy another truck? Everybody needs 3 trucks, right?

Nobody but you said it looked that bad! The ONLY Chevy model years I don't like are the slanted eye years. I personally like the current look ,although the big front Crome bumper, well at times I find it weird but could live with it.

IMO the interior ,more so the cluster,is bait cheesy. The gauge arrangement but who knows like I said in person my attitude could change.

I'm liking the way the Chevy looks. I feel like it'll grow even more on me when I see one in person. Although the dash reminds me too much of the Chevy Equinox. The drivetrain sounds legit. Just wish I could get a stick shift....

Although the wheel wells seem to be turning more square with every release....

I'm buying a Gasser, if you can't turn the diesel up and do what we can now with the current models - pre LML - then why spend the $$$$$$

Save the $10-$12K in extra upfront costs and call it a day.

Then the EPA will leave us alone.

I agree 100% why unless you tow A LOT buying the diesel package and you cannot make cheap HP no freaking way! As a DD I could live with the power and fuel economy of gas!

I thought of the All Terrain HD concept when I saw them.

If you put a lift on the 2014 GMC it would look a lot closer to the "All Terrain" concept.

The reason the trucks are so low is for aerodynamics/fuel economy.
Blame the EPA/CAFE standards for that one.
