Thinkin about trading our little gasser cruze in at the end of the year, the old lady is happy with her gasser but I want a diesel.

Sweet cars tons of power compared to our gasser.

See Fleece performance for a emissions friendly tune, it will get rid of the delay factor down low. We are getting 46+ with a tune in ours!

It was 26,500 taxes title and window etching. Has pretty much everything. Alloy wheels, rs package, leather heated, remote start Ol lady wanted all the bells and whistles I wanted the rs and wheels also of coarse had to be the 2.0 and I can feel the little bit of delay. Must be spool up. We drove it 36 miles today and averaged 38 but most of it was highway.

Id love to get my wife a diesel but I fear she would be putting gas in it all the time! I recall the time she called me filling up the Audi saying the pump wouldn't fit into the fill tube? I was dumbfounded in-till I said what color is he pump handle she said GREEN! Gratefully it wasn't one of those filling stations with the small pumps!

Good luck with the car! :)

I really want to test drive one, but I'm afraid I'd want to trade in my 2013 Eco for the 2014 diesel. Not a great financial move :spit:

I kind of expected the diesels to get better mileage. I've gotten as high as 45 MPG on my gasser (Reno, NV to Sacramento, CA), but I average 36:

From what I can tell, the diesel Cruze costs the same per mile to drive, but with more power and nicer features (leather), it might be worth the higher sticker price. I'm kind of glad they didn't have it in 2013, or I'd still be arguing with myself over which one to get, Eco or 2.0 TD. :baby:

It was a no brainer for me. One of the in-laws has a gasser and it is a dog IMHO. Hopefully she doesn't make the mistake on fuel. She hasn't in my truck yet lol. And the car is new it had 3 miles when we picked it up.

My gf just got a cruze-d and she loves it. So far driving it around town with a short highway trip she averaged around 35, not as good as my tdi, but a helluva lot nicer car. FWIW she picked hers up in Kansas City for 22k, sticker was over 25.

We got the vsc, gap, and tire and wheel protection also 6 year ext. Warranty that's ours was so much more. The interior has some spill resistant stuff, tire protection covers bent wheels from pothole and nails. Even if you hit a curb. Hell idc she's making the payments lol Happy wife happy life.
