I still think you should just replace all 8 injectors and start fresh
I agree, but before I pull the trigger, I want to make sure that the injectors are the issue - remember, I was told these injectors were newly put in this motor when I got it.
Here is a long shot question....do you guys think it could be a bad harness?
The reason I ask is because I've had it off a few times through all of this.....and each time it seemed to get more brittle/crusty. I had it off originally to do the head gasket. Then again to swap the motors. After replacing the head gaskets on the first motor, I had a grounding issue to the FPR. I bought a new pig tail and spliced it in, and the issue still occurred. I ended up splicing a ground wire straight to the pig tail and grounding it to a bolt, which fixed the issue. Who knows if maybe I pinched/pulled/stretched something else in there too?
I see there is harnesses on ebay from parted out junk yard trucks for $200-$300. Should I entertain that?
